About Katuka Paralegal Organization

KATUKA PARALEGAL ORGANIZATION is a non-governmental organization established in 2014 and registered in 2016 in accordance with the law of non-governmental organizations No. 24 of the year 2002. The head office of Katuka Paralegal Organization is located in Chamwino district, Buigiri ward, Lusinde street along the main road from Dodoma to Morogoro. The organization works in all areas of Chamwino district.

The vision of this organization is to have a society with justice, equality and a society that understands the laws of women and children and defends their rights.

The mission of this organization is to build a peaceful, stable Tanzanian society that respects the laws of the country.

The Organization Purpose

The main purpose of the organization is to motivate, encourage and influence the community in various matters related to the law.

In order to achieve this goal, the organization does the following things:-

  • Collaborating with the government and non-governmental organizations in maintaining and protecting human rights inside and outside Chamwino district as part of strengthening and developing Democracy and the rule of law in this country.
  • Providing legal aid services to citizens in need of legal aid services.
  • To provide and spread legal education to all community members of Chamwino district.
  • To educate and motivate the community about their rights and how to defend themselves.
  • Helping the community how to get their rights in the court system.
  • Educating the community to understand their roles in the management of human rights.
  • Fighting outdated traditions and customs (false traditions) that have a discriminatory focus, especially for women.

This is the image and guidance of the Katuka Paralegal Organization that is engaged in providing legal aid and legal education services in Chamwino district, Dodoma Region.
